   Two Processing Options (with a slight twist)

  We want to make your experience with ordering Green Vista Farm beef and pork nearly as enjoyable as sitting down to the table to eat one of our 100% grass fed beef burgers. If you are new to saving money by ordering freezer beef in quantities such as a quarter or half steer, you may be unsure of exactly what cuts can come out of a half beef.  So with that in mind we combined popular ways of processing into 2 preplanned options for a half beef which you can use to order just as they are.

  If you are only getting a quarter the volumes of each of these cuts will obviously differ from our example using a half beef.

 

The first option is the Standard Cut. Mostly bone in style steaks with the extras shown below. That breakdown would look like this:

  • Steaks are- T-bone Steaks, Porterhouse Steaks, Rib Steaks, Sirloin Steaks, Flank Steak. You would also get 2 packages of 4 cube steaks each (cube steaks are a mechanically tenderized cut from the round which is lean so they would need more of a moist heat cooking like a roast would not the dry heat of a grill) 

  • Roasts- English/Chuck Roast all totaling about 9-10 roasts at 2-3 Lbs each

  •  Included extras would be 2 Lb. Stir fry, 2 Lb. kabob meat, 4 Lb. stew meat.

  • Ground beef will include four-3 Lb. stacks of thick oval patties (9/stack) and the remainder into 1 Lb. bulk packs.

  • If you would like a 7-8 Lb. brisket intact rather than made into ground beef please ask 

 Our other easy order option is our Boneless Cut.  With this cut your beef would come like this: 

  • Steaks would be- Filet Mignon, Strip Steak, Ribeye Steak, Sirloin Steaks, Flank Steak, Flat Iron Steaks and cube steaks as described above 

  • Roasts- English and Chuck Roasts totaling about 8 roasts.

  • Included extras would be 2 Lb. Stir fry, 2 Lb. kabob meat, 4 Lb. stew meat.

  • Ground beef will include four-3 Lb. stacks of thick oval patties (9/stack) and the remainder into 1 Lb. bulk packs.

  • ( If you are going with the Boneless Cut and would like the 7-8 Lb. brisket intact, just let us know)
